Large timber glazing and jali brick walls invite light and airflow, while warm timber trusses and pews create an intimate, spiritually calming atmosphere rooted in simplicity and context.

    Urban PlantScape transforms an underused parking lot into a massive community garden space. Managed by Melbourne City Council, it reclaims The Royal Mint Carpark to reintroduce nature into the city. Open to the public, the project offers residents space to grow food, flowers, and trees, countering the spread of concrete with accessible urban greenery.

  • Nyenga Bar

    The bar is crafted from locally sourced eucalyptus timber, mud bricks, and stone in order to align with Nyenga Eco Resort’s design ethos. It efficiently houses a bar, outdoor seating, storage and toilets to host multiple guests. Its open curved form maximizes the tropical Eastern Ugandan climate, capturing views of Lake Victoria and the cooling North-East breeze, to create a lively yet relaxing dining experience.

  • Conveyor Cabins

    A modular accommodation project for 24 guests, featuring indoor/outdoor spaces for up to 60 people. It reuses the Conveyor Belt structure for food production, integrates existing forests for outdoor showers, and prioritizes native, renewable materials like Cypress Pine. The project promotes rustic, nature-connected living while enabling future re-purposing through sustainable design and reused steel walkways.
